The Varna Volunteer Fire Company is always recruiting neighbors that live or work in our fire protection district, encompassing Varna and Ellis Hollow. This includes PhD and DVM students and candidates in the area, as well as certain longer master's programs. No experience is required. We have plenty of operational roles, such as Firefighter, EMT, fire police, etc., as well as Support roles available.

If you work or reside in our community, we strongly encourage you to consider joining our organization. We have roles for everyone regardless of skill level or prior experience. Stop by one of our truck checks any Wednesday night between 6PM and 8PM to learn more!

The Varna Volunteer Fire Company typically hosts two undergraduate and Master's students Recruitment cycles per year: once in the Fall semester and once in the Spring semester. We do not recruit undergraduate or Master's students outside of these cycles unless they are Community Members.
